Mr. Arlin Freddie Cliborne

Obituary:

Mr. Arlin Freddie Cliborne, age 83, of South Hill, died Tuesday April 9, 2019. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, an employee of South Hill Grocery Company, the co-owner of Old Plank Road Antique Shop and the widower of Sara Ingram Cliborne and Gladys Gwaltney Cliborne. Mr. Cliborne is survived by his niece, Judith C. Kemp and her husband Bobby of South Hill; two nephews: Earl Cliborne of Chase City and Tommy Cliborne of Kenbridge and several great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Cliborne was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Allgood and two brothers: Richard Cliborne, Jr. and Robert Dewey Cliborne. A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday April 13th at 2:00 P.M. in Ebenezer Baptist Church of Baskerville. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Chase City. Friends who wish to visit with the family may do so at the home of Judith and Bobby Kemp. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ebenezer Baptist Church at 26800 Highway 47, South Hill, VA 23970. Online condolences may be made through our website at www.crowderhitecrews.com.
