Francis Allen "Frank" Poythress

Obituary:

Mr. Francis Allen “Frank” Poythress, age 86, of South Hill, died Monday, May 13, 2019 in the Hundley Center, He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a former salesman for Home Solutions and the widower of Joyce Morrow Poythress.
Frank is survived by two daughters; Deborah Poythress of Brodnax and Brenda Thompson of Elizabethtown, NC, a son Francis Allen Poythress, Jr. of Elizabethtown, NC, a step-daughter Donna Parrish of La Crosse and a step-son Ronald Eugene “Ron” Hoover of Kenbridge, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren . He was predeceased by a daughter Beverly Edmonds, a granddaughter Stephanie Jones and a great grandson Brayden Jones.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home . Memorial contributions may be made to the Hundley Center Activities Fund, 125 Buena Vista Circle, South Hill, Va. 23970. Online condolences may be sent through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
