  2. Grandma was a woman of strenght and grace. I always admired her will, independence, and humility, combined with her wisdom, knowledge and insight to speak with silence or words. I will forever cherish the last few weekends spent with her and remember her hugs, kisses, and “I love you’s” every chance she had. My sincere apprecition to Larry, Debbie, and my mom for making it possible to share more time with her recently. Deepest condolences to the entire family as you are in my thoughts and prayers, love, Shanna Burgess, Charlotte, NC.
