Mr. Raymond Lynn "Bunny" Tanner

Obituary:

Mr. Raymond Lynn “Bunny” Tanner , age 68, of Brodnax, died Tuesday , February 19, 2019 in VCU/MCV hospital, Richmond. He was the owner/operator of Tanner Auto and retired from Southside Auto Parts, he was a member of Brodnax Assembly of God and a U.S. Army, Vietnam veteran. “Bunny” is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Paula Wallace Tanner, his son Daniel L. Tanner of Brodnax, two sisters; Barbara P. Callis and husband Earl of Kenbridge and Elsie T. Coffman of Bracey, a brother George “Jigger” Tanner and wife Paula J. Tanner also of Brodnax, eleven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Mack W. Tanner. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with interment in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contribution’s may be made to the Brodnax Assembly of God, P.O. Box 265, Brodnax, Va. 23920.     I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your family member. Bunny and I along with the other members of his family grew up together when we were young. I think about this family often. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Just know as Christians we shall see him again.
