Obituary:

Mrs. Nancy Millner Cox, age 84 of Ebony, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, February 22, 2019 . She worked for Fairfax County Tax Department and was the fifth child of Edward Clayton and Daisy Millner.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years John E. Cox, her son Randolph C. Cox and wife Elisabeth of Farmville, a brother Richard Millner and wife Beulah of Berkley Springs, W. VA, and two grandsons; Randy C. Cox, II of Fredericksburg and Hunter F. Cox of Farmville, four nieces; Patsy Baker and Peggy Finch of New Market, Va. and Cynthia Wiley and Linda Kidwell of Spring Hill Florida.
Nancy was predeceased by a son David D. Cox , two sisters and two brothers.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Prospect United Methodist Church, Ebony with interment in Prospect Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect United Methodist ,P. O. Box 25, Ebony, Va. 23845 4or the Alzheimer’s Association, Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 6315 N. Center Drive, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502.   1. John, I was sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing this past week.we had so many good times at Ebony Homemakers Club. Her baking was the ultimate in goodness. Please pass along my condolences to your family.
