Mr. Jerry Linwood Crump, Jr.

Obituary:

Mr. Jerry Linwood Crump, Jr., age 76, of South Hill, died Wednesday February 27, 2019. He was a truck driver for 48 years, an U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Wilson Brothers morning coffee club and the widower of Margaret Ann Crump. Mr. Crump is survived by his five sons: Douglas Harlow of Boydton, Charles Harlow of Westfield, PA, Kenneth Crump of Freeman and Troy Crump of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; his daughter, Laura C. Hankins of Winder, GA; a brother, Michael Crump of Ramseur, N.C.; a sister, Joyce Davis of South Hill and many loving Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Mr. Crump was preceded in death by his son, Willie E. Crump. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday March 2nd at 11:00 A.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
