Marion Rogister Pearson

Mrs. Marion Rogister Pearson, age 88, of South Hill, died Thursday April 25, 2019 in Meadowview Terrace. She was a life long member of First Baptist Church of South Hill, a member of the South Hill Chapter of the Eastern Star and a retired nurse at VCU Community Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Pearson is survived by her husband of 69 years, William T. “Billy” Pearson of South Hill; her two daughters: Linda Taylor and her husband Jay of Richmond and Lois Koch and her husband Gary of Los Angeles, CA; her two sons: William G. Pearson and his fiancee Debbie Hedden of Thornburg, VA and Thomas C. Pearson and his wife Tessa of Manakin; four grandsons, two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday May 6th at 2:00 P.M. in the Finch Court area of Meadowview Terrace located at 184 Buffalo Road, Clarksville, VA 23927. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church at 410 North Mecklenburg Avenue, South Hill, VA 23970, the Southside Rescue Squad at P.O. Box 546, South Hill, VA 23970 or to the South Hill Volunteer Fire Department at 114 N. Brunswick Avenue, South Hill, VA 23970.
