Mr. Joe Lewis Hostetter, Sr.

Mr. Joe Lewis Hostetter, Sr., age 79, of South Hill, died Sunday December 9, 2018. He was a former employee of the C.W. Wright Construction Company and Parker Oil. Mr. Hostetter is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine B. Hostetter of South Hill; his son, Joe Lewis Hostetter, Jr. of Chase City; his three daughters: Laura Hostetter Williams and her husband Michael of Burlington, Kentucky, Cynthia Gayle Sandy and her husband Anthony of Kenbridge and Tracey Diane Walker and her husband Darnell of Wilmington, NC; his four brothers: Robert Hostetter of South Hill, Carson Hostetter of Buford, GA, Calvin Hostetter of Baskerville and Rickie Hostetter of Lawrenceville; his sister, Mary Parrish of Dolphin; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Hostetter was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Eugene Hostetter, two brothers, Eugene “Bud” and Wayne, his sister, Charlotte Thompson and his daughter-in-law, Rhonda Hostetter. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday December 14th at 11:00 A.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at P.O.     I am so sorry for your loss. I am saddened I’m not able to be there for you Tracey. I love you and if you need to talk I’m here for you. Your dad was a great man who loved you alot. My thoughts are with you. My prayers and condolences to your family.
