Warren Francis Hammonds

Mr. Warren Francis Hammonds, age 88, of South Hill, died Thursday, May 9, 2019 in VCU/Community Memorial Healthcenter. He was a machine operator for the former La Crosse Sportswear.
Mr. Hammonds is survived by his wife Mary Elizabeth Hammonds, two daughters Michelle Taylor (Paul V., Jr.) of La Crosse and Linda Yonker of South Hill, two brothers; Lewis Hammonds of Altavista and Harold Hammonds of Crewe, five grandchildren; Christopher, Kaylyn, Brittany, Tiffany and Paige and seven great grandchildren; Brooklyn, Kayli, Naomi, Luke, Abigail , Brooke and Thomas. He was predeceased by three brothers; Leon, Thomas and Alford Hammonds and a sister Mary Jane Spence.
A funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
