Mr. Freddy Lee Hines

Mr. Freddy Lee Hines, age 72, of South Hill, died Thursday, June 27, 2019. He was the owner and operator of Lee Construction and a Vietnam Army veteran who received both a bronze star and purple heart while serving his country. Mr. Hines is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lee Ann Hines of South Hill; his four daughters: Michele H. Vuono and her husband Tommy of Brodnax, Sherry Bowers and her husband Tim of Baskerville, Terry Overby and her husband Mark of Richmond and Crystal Hines and her fiance’ B.J. Upton of Richmond; two brothers: Otis Hines and Tommy Hines both of South Hill; his sister, Ann Quinn of Bracey and his five grandchildren: Josh Bowers, Giovanni, Tommy and Anthony Vuono and Brayden Upton. A funeral service will be held on Monday July 1st at 11:00 A.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to take place in the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery with full American Legion Post 79 Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 7 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service at P.O.
