Obituary:

Mary T. Edwards died Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was born February 18, 1946 in Roxboro, N.C. Survived by her loving and devoted son, Boyd A. Edwards of South Hill; her daughter, Wanda Parrish Duckworth of Skipwith, VA; her loving and devoted twin sister, Mildred Layton and her husband Glenn of Greenville, N.C.; her loving and devoted brother, Jerry White, Sr. and his wife Mildred of La Crosse; her sister, Bonnie Rockwell and her husband Thetton of Matocca; two brothers: Collins White, Sr. and his wife Peggy of Roxboro, NC and Ronnie White and his wife Marie of Fredericksburg; her step-son, Alan F. Edwards, Jr. and his wife Connie; her four grandchildren: Timmy and Arielle Duckworth of Skipwith and Renee and Teresa Thompson of Oswego, New York and her great-grandchild Wyatt. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Mary and Collins White, Sr. of Roxboro, NC; her sister Bobbie Allen of Las Vegas, NV and her son, Collins Thompson of Brodnax. She was the widow of H.L. Thompson, Jr. of Brodnax and Alan F. Edwards, Sr. of Palmer Springs. Mary wants to be remembered whenever you see rainbows and butterflies. A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 4th at 2:00 P.M. in Living Waters Ministries in downtown South Hill. Online condolences may be sent through www.crowderhitecrews.com.
