  1. I was so sorry to hear about Carolyn, she was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Carolyn truly loved her family and always made sure they were taken good care of. Melissa, I have to smile when I think of her I think the two of us had as much fun at that concert as you and Erin! Your children were blessed to have her as a grandma because I can only imagine that she was an absolutely awesome gran. Your mama was loved and respected by all that knew her, she was someone I truly admired. I didn’t see her very much after you grew up but when I did we talked like it was old home week. Y’all can rest easy that she is in a beautiful place with her mama and daddy. Sending you love and hugs. Love, Donna

  2. Our deepest sympathy. Carolyn was a such a loyal and cherished employee at The Enterprise. So sorry that Barbara and I will not be able to attend the service tonight. I have been on the calendar to be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club meeting. Hope we can get there for the visitation.

  3. Dear Friend

We want to express our sincere sympathy to Beth, Dylan, Melissa and her family in the loss of their dear mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. Carolyn was a true friend to everyone she came in contact with. We enjoyed her friendship for many years. She has loved and cared for so many … we picture her in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. We are sure that he told her “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; enter thou into the joy of the Lord.” Matthew 25:23

Monday morning was my hardest day- as I left South Hill Elementary always checking my left side mirror going around the circle, tears came down my face, there was no bus 118 following me that day…..As I make that circle everyday, I will always think of you and that smile you always had on your face… will miss you. 5. Cousin

I still can’t believe you are gone. Caregiver is the title you had the longest and the one you are most remembered. I will miss seeing you at our reunions. You were a loving girl hearted individual and you will be missed by many. I know you are with your Mom and Dad once again. Love to your family. May God give them comfort.

  6. Mecklenburg County School Bus Driver, Bus #104

Carolyn was a very nice person & co-worker and may the memories you hold in your heart bring healing and peace to your soul. God Bless you all.I will definitely miss seeing her come pass my bus at South Hill Elementary School.

  7. I want to express our condolences to the family. Carolyn safely carried my son Robert to and from school for years. We still think of her often. We are so sorry for this unfortunate turn of events. The Bible says we are all liable for time and unforseen occurrancies to begall us.
The Bible also gives us a wonderful hope that the dead will again when the earth is a paradise under God’s Kingdom. John 5:28,29 Dan 2:44
