Mrs. Deborah Rideout "Debbie" Ryland

Obituary:

Mrs. Deborah "Debbie" Rideout Ryland, age 65, of South Hill, died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at VCU/MCV hospital, Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Ethel Rideout, and also her sister Virginia R. Wesson. She was a former employee of Jones Apparel in South Hill. Debbie is survived by her husband of forty years, Edwin Iverson Ryland, Jr. Two sisters: Joyce Parson and Rebecca Chappell. A sister-in-law Rowena Ryland, and a brother-in-law Jerry Wesson. Three nieces: Julie Bagley, Robin Chappell, and Angela Turner. Four nephews: Mike Parson, Kenny Chappell, Sonny Echols and Ryland Turner. Great nieces and nephews: Jennifer Collins, Jamie Walker, Nick Echols, Samantha Echols, Ashley Parson, Amber Broadus, Blake Holdsworth, Adam Chappell, and Jake Chappell. A graveside funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, Smith Crossroads. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory . The family also suggest memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929, or Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Bill Wright , 1854 Smith Crossroads, South Hill, Va. 23970. Online condolences may be made to www.crowderhitecrews.com.
