Mr. Herbert Lee Parrott, Jr.

Obituary:

Mr. Herbert L. Parrott, Jr., age 84, of La Crosse, died Thursday, November 29, 2018 in VCU/Community Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired automobile salesman for fifty years , having worked with Hardee Ford, South Hill Motor Company, F. E. Watkins Motor Co. and Sadler Auto, a Life time member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, and member of the South Hill Moose Lodge, and a fifty year member of the
La Crosse Ruritans.
He was predeceased by his parents Herbert L. and Louise Parrott and his wife Jane Wright Parrott.
He is survived by his wife Rachel Edwards Parrott, a son Donald Lee Parrott (Kathryn) and a daughter Connie Parrott Thompson (Ernie) all of La Crosse, a brother, Jimmy Earl Parrott (Phyllis) of Chester, four sisters; Mildred Parrott Watson and Mable Parrott Pearce both of South Hill , Betty Parrott Wotten (Floyd) of Boydton and Sheila Parrott Murray (Jimmy) of La Crosse, step-son Mike Wright (Debbie) of Va Beach , three grandchildren; Christopher Parrott (Crystal) , Casey Bishop (Grayson) all of South Hill and Brandon McClintock of Emporia, great grandchildren; Kaylee and Cameron Parrott, Abby and Tyler Bishop and Ella Jane McClintock, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted , Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory.
