Obituary:

Mr. William Malcom “Bear” Kirby, age 81, of La Crosse, died on Thursday September 16, 2021 in his home. He was a retired tobacco farmer. Mr. Kirby is survived by his wife, Mable J. Kirby of La Crosse; his daughter, Tammie Davis of Bracey; his son, Randy Upton of Stoney Creek; his sister, Hilda Chapman of Chase City; his brother, Paige Kirby of Norfolk; his many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his good friend Jesse Burton. Services will be private. Online condolences may be made through www.crowderhitecrews.com. Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Kirby family.

    Marble our hearts ache for your loss and our loss of William. He was a good man and a loyal friend to me and Jessie Burton we love you both and we will never forget William and his kindness we will miss him. RIP Friend
