Mrs. Nancy Jennings Patton Huff

Obituary:

Mrs. Nancy Jennings Patton Huff, age 79 of South Hill, Va. died , Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in VCU/MCV hospital in Richmond. She was employed in many retail businesses including Ernie Sullins Outlet in Marion Virginia and the latest being Morning Star's Bed, Bath, and Curtain in Buffalo Junction Va. She was also the widow of Robert G. Patton and Timothy Huff.
Mrs Huff is survived by her son Chad Patton and wife Krystal of South Hill a brother Bill Jennings and wife Teresa of King, N.C., four grandchildren; Ella, Kira, Camille and Gabe Patton, a sister-in-law Bonnie Jennings of Independence, Va. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Maynard Jennings.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.
A graveside memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Independence, VA. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Robert G. Patton Scholarship Fund, c/o SVCC Foundation, 109 Campus Drive, Alberta, VA 23821, the South Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 114 N. Brunswick Ave., South Hill, Va. 23970 or the Southside Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 546, South Hill, Va. 23970. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.     Chad, I remember how proud your mother was of all that you had accomplished. I know you were close and this is a very sad loss.
