Obituary:

Mrs. Mary Wells King, age 70, of Chase City, died on Thursday September 22, 2022. She was the preschool director for the Centenary United Methodist Church in Chase City and a hair stylist at the Glamour Salon in Chase City. Mrs. King is survived by her two sons: Brandon King and his wife Jennifer of Colonial Heights and Scott King and his wife Shawna of Chase City; her four grandchildren: Ashley King, Evan King, John King and Bobbie Wade and her great-grandchild, Robbie Lecik. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, John Benjamin King, Jr. and her son, Myles King. A celebration of Mrs. King’s life will be held on Saturday September 24th at 1:30 P.M. in Mount Horeb Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. What a beautiful and kind lady Mrs. King was, she was so amazing and wonderful to my three girls when they attended preschool and as they grew older they would get off the bus and she would hug them and just cry because they were growing up so fast. She will truly be missed! Sending love and prayers to you all! We love you Mrs . King
