Geneva Conner "Genny" Waskey

Obituary:

Geneva “Genny” Conner Waskey, 88, of Alberta, passed away peacefully in her home on November 26, 2022. She was born to the late Roy Conner and May Yost Conner. Her beloved husband, Curtis Ray Waskey, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Waskey was a native of South Boston, VA and a retired Real Estate entrepreneur and the former co-owner of Waskey Cleaners in South Boston, VA.
Left to cherish her memory: her daughter, Mary W. Mattice (Bob) of Virginia Beach; four sons, Curtis R. Waskey, Jr. (Alice) of South Boston, VA, Tony L. Waskey (Barbara) of Michigan, Dennis A. Waskey (Gail) of Virginia Beach, and Mark Waskey (Regina) of Alberta, VA; nine grandchildren, Curtis III, Matthew Troy, T.J., Julie Marie, Kenneth, David, Jennifer, Crystal, and Hannah; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery will immediately follow. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
Local arrangements were by Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory.
