Obituary:

Mr. Michael Wayne Ezell, age 63, of South Hill, died Wednesday February 27, 2019. He was a truck driver for Parker Oil Company. Mr. Ezell is survived by his son, Michael B. Ezell and his wife Elizabeth of South Hill; two brothers: Robert L. Ezell, Jr. of Clemons, NC and Nicky Ezell of Lewisville, NC and his granddaughter, Mikayla Ezell. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday March 3rd at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow in La Crosse Cemetery.   1. We are very saddened by the loss of Mike. As a former employee and always a good friend he was one of the sharpest and funniest people I ever knew. I can still remember the day that his son Mike was born and how proud he was. We have lost a gentle giant. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family.
