  1. One of a kind

Knew Sonny ‘Elvis’ for many years. He was definitely part of what made South Hill great. When I got old enough to run parts for Dad’s garage Sonny started calling me Elvis and Eblis! I was in South Hill right after he passed. Was hoping he was good so I could tell him I’ve honored a coworker with the title. Don’t make them like him anymore

  2. I was so fortunate to get to be Sonny’s friend and partner for the last three years. He was so sweet and kind and always a gentleman where ever we were . We often would run into old friends and people he had known and they always seemed so glad to see him and had only good things to say. He will be greatly missed by me and my family..

  3. So sorry for your loss. He will be missed. We always enjoyed talking with Sonny. You have many memories to cherish. The Lord will give you strength. Love and prayers are with you.

  4. Remembering a good friend

Sonny was a good man and another Southern Gentleman. He and I would always extend “Hey Cousin” when we would see each other. Linda and I extend our condolences to the family and his good friend Mary Evelyn who in these golden years made his life a good and happy one. Love and prayers are with you all.
