Mr. Raymond Linwood "R.L." Brooks

Mr. Raymond Linwood “R.L.” Brooks, age 50, of La Crosse, passed away on Tuesday December 2, 2025. R.L. was a manager for Alltel/AT&T and he also was an employee on Newmart Buildings. R.L. is survived by his wife, Angela “Alli” Brooks of La Crosse; his son, T.J. Wallace Brooks and his wife Mindy of Clayton, NC; his three daughters: Lexy Brooks and her fiance’ Matt McDade of La Crosse, Claudia Brooks of La Crosse and Emma Jo Brooks of La Crosse; his two grandchildren: Ezekiel Wallace and Covee Wallace; his brother, Johnny Ashworth and his wife Beth of South Hill; two nieces, Ashley King and Jordon Ashworth; his two nephews Taylor Ashworth and Cameron Ashworth; his four great-nephews and three great-nieces. A Celebration of R.L.’s Life will be held on Saturday December 6th at 4:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial Contributions in R.L.’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association through their website, www.diabetes.org or to Donate Life at donatelife.net. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Brooks family.

Ali and children Praise GOD for your loving family and compassion for others. I remember RL being at worship when he was younger. He has always been to me a sweet and kind young man. From a beautiful family whom he loved so much. May GOD give you all HIS peace and wrap HIS loving arms around you. I believe you already know this. In GOD’S word He tells us our Soul/Spirit goes with HIM at the time of our last breath. Pastor Billy Graham said at the time we pass away we are as alive as ever or even more. We then, only get a new address. We all will praise GOD and look forward tonn B seeing RL one day in Heaven. GOD’S love and comfort and peace to you all.

R.L. was such a sweet soul. He has been in my life for many years from Allie working at my stepdad salon to him coming last April to our Data Center Academy open house at the college. I pray for you all and am sending huge hugs, as well as prayers. I love you guys. I am here if you need anything.
