William H. Griffin

Mr. William Henry Griffin, age 83 of South Hill, passed away May 23, 2026. He was the husband of the late Annette Parrish Griffin and the son of the late Issac and Mary Griffin. William worked as an equipment operator for the Virginia Department of Transportation. William leaves behind a son, William H. Griffin, Jr. (Linda) of North View; a daughter, Tammy G. Clark (Dickie) of Chesterfield; three sisters, Sadie Spraggins of Baskerville, Nancy Carey of Union Level and Margaret Tipton of Baskerville; and a granddaughter, Robin Brockwell. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 28 at 11:30 A.M. at Crowder – Hite – Crews Funeral Home Chapel, with a visitation at 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mecklenburg County Cancer Association at P.O. Box 94 Clarksville, VA 23927 or Bethany Baptist Church at P.O. Box 119 Baskerville, VA 23915.
