Mr. Vernon Eastman Banton

Mr. Vernon Eastman Banton, 56 of Baskerville, died Tuesday, September 17, 2019. He was an avid fisherman and animal lover. Mr. Banton is survived by his wife of eighteen years Catherine Lather (Cathy) Banton, mother Barbara Taylor Wagoner, his brother Buck Banton and his wife Susan all of Chesterfield, two step-daughters; Danielle Morse of Richmond and Mary Catherine Seymour of New Kent and many grandchildren and nephews. He is predeceased by his step-son Dylan Parham of Roanoke Rapids and father Clarence R. Banton, Sr. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Lake Country SPCA lakecountryspca.org/Home.html are welcomed. Online condolences may be sent through our web page, www.crowderhitecrews.com. I read once, “It is not the length of life, but depth of life.” The depth of Vern’s life touched many hearts and lives. I personally shared Vern’s awesome outgoing and kindhearted character. To the Watsons’ family, the Banton family is a loving and caring family; my family and I sincerely treasure your friendship, genuine love, and Spiritual belief.
