  1. With deepest sympathy in this time of loss

Keeping the entire Kinker family in our prayers during this difficult time. We know how close the bond between Kim and her “daddy” was and that loving bond between father and daughter will remain.

    Peace be with you,

    Curt and Pam

  2. The Kercher Group

I knew Blair through my consulting work at VDOT over the years. He, Erle Potter, Dick Bonistalli and Carl Huskey were the industry faces of the VDOT Equipment section for many years. Sorry to hear of his passing.

    Sincerely,
    Henry Canipe

  3. Friend

Another Good Man has left our realm. I reckon God needed another hand on the front lines up high. Blair came back to LaCrosse in the twilight of his VDOT career and I found out quickly how lucky they were to have had such a man in their employ. He fell right in around the community and church to help and give sage advice, his time and labor, as well as other support wherever needed. Of course his personality, knowledge, and cooking skills made him a welcome sight at any function he attended. Shared many a tale, joke, and full plate with him at church, hunt club, and the Opie Farms Shop..We will all mourn and miss you Our Good and Faithful Servant…

  4. To Kim and family,
I was very sad to hear of Blair’s passing. I have so many fond memories of him throughout my childhood. So many warm regards for his generosity to his extended family over the years sharing his veggies, delicious BBQ & stew. I will be thinking of you and your family today and wish I could be there in person to pay my respects.
Sending our thoughts and prayers, Melanie

  5. Such a kind, funny, hard working gentleman. I have only known him for a short time but he loved his family, and his work on the farm. I know shelling peas was the bain of his existance. His smile, his laughter and his warmth will be missed.

Kim, my condolences ro you and your Aunts and Uncles.

  6. VDOT Family

I worked with Blair for many years and he was such a great leader for the VDOT family. He helped many new employee’s through the years. Many times it was just that smile or laughter. 8. To the family of Mr Kinker

I am so sad to hear of Mr Kinker’s passing. I was just thinking when I passed his house the other day how I hadn’t seen him in awhile. I used to work at the South Hill CVS and he would get prescriptions from there. Since I left from working there, I would see him in town shopping and he would always stop and speak and chat for awhile. I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences to the family.

    Much love, Susan

  10. Friend and a former pastor of Blair

    Kimberly and family,
I had the privilege of knowing Blair when I served LaCrosse UMC from 2002-2008. He was a good friend and church member. He was always bribing me watermelon and vegetables. Not to mention the times he would invite me over for the gatherings where he would have that good bbq. He will be greatly missed and my heart and prayers go out to the family.
    Jim
