  1. Maddie Lee and Chris, Stacy and I are so sorry for your loss. Our sincere condolences to all of you. He and Ralph had some great times together. May God be with you all giving you strength and comfort.

  2. Sorry for your loss!

Eugene served as a member of the Roanoke River Rails to Trails representing Brodnax for several years. His enthusiasm and Level headeness made the Tobacco Heritage Trail (THT) a wonderful gift to all of South Side Virginia. Thanks for your help Eugene!

  3. Chris, I am so sorry to hear about Gene’s passing. He was always so pleasant when I used to see him at the gym. Always smiling. I treasure one of his wood carvings.
You have been a good son.

  4. We love you so much!

We are praying for the family. Eugene was an amazing brother, Uncle, and we will miss him. I’ll always remember the story of the red jeep! He made life an adventure and he will be missed so much.

  5. With Deepest Sympathy

Chris and Family, We are so sorry to hear of your Daddy’s and Grandaddy’s ( and our dear neighbor’s) passing. I know your hearts are grieving at this time of loss. Eugene was always so kind and always willing to extend a hand to help anyone in need. As long as his health allowed him, you would see him anytime riding his bicycle on the Tobacco Trail or through the streets of Brodnax. One thing he always had everytime you saw him was that wonderful, friendly smile. Know that you and your family are in our prayers. We pray God will bring you comfort and peace in your time of grieving.
