Barbara Anne Matthews

Ms. Barbara Anne Matthews, age 85, of La Crosse, died Wednesday March 13, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Annie Matthews. She was predeceased by her brothers: Walter, Robert, Lonnie, Lawrence and Richard and sisters: Josie Kirkland, Berta Mae Crowder, Cornelia Davis, Grace Lewis and Daisey Conner. She was a lifetime member of La Crosse United Methodist Church and past member of Beta Sigma Phi International for 20 years. She retired from the Virginia Department of Agriculture with 34 years of service. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Saturday March 16th at 11:00 A.M. in Crestview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the La Crosse United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 279, La Crosse, VA 23950.
