Clarence Windfield Daniel

Clarence Windfield Daniel, 76 of Brodnax, passed away February 13, 2026, at his home. Clarence was born in Lunenburg Co., VA as one of 12 children to his late parents, James and Irene Daniel. He is also preceded in death by his brother, James “Joe” Daniel; two sisters, Doris Daniel and Naomi Groce; and two brothers-in-law, Donald Foster and Wren Jenkins. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Ann L. Daniel of South Hill; his son, Kevin Scott Daniel (Julie) of Forksville; his daughter, Rhonda Dresler (Brian) of VA,; Ann’s daughter’s, Angie Evans of Weimer, TX and Amy Mizzell (Eddie) of McKenney; two brothers, Terry Daniel (Janice)of Keysville and Bobby Daniel (Crystal) of Rocky Mt.; six sisters, Margaret Foster of Lunenburg Courthouse, Ellen Lacks (John) of South Hill, Ruth Price (Marvin) of Martinsville, Joyce Newcomb (Bill) of Victoria, Connie Gregory (Ron) of Henderson, NC and Edith Jenkins of Burkeville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Clarence and Ann met, danced and married at a Dance, enjoying many wonderful dances throughout their years of marriage.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home, South Hill, VA. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mecklenburg Co. Cancer Association or Bethany Global Methodist Church, Brodnax. Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Daniel family.
