Mrs. Geraldine Spake Clement

Mrs. Geraldine Spake Clement, age 85, of Virginia Beach, died on Friday November 29, 2024 in her home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Clement was a retired employee of the Sears store in Pembroke Mall, Virginia Beach, with thirty years of service. She also was an avid Nascar fan, with her favorite driver being Denny Hamlin; she loved watching the TV shows Yellowstone and General Hospital and she was a huge fan of Garth Brooks. Mrs. Clement is survived by her son, John Clement and his wife Angie of Suffolk; her daughter, Jacqueline C. Kwiatkowska of Virginia Beach; her five grandchildren: Kasady Kwiatkowska, Stephen Kwiatkowski, Jeremy Parker, Leigh Chappell and Christopher Dale; her five great-grandchildren: Jayden Dale, Charlie Chappell, Skylar Chappell, Christopher Dale, Jr. and Chase Dale; her special friend, Judy Spake and her two sister-in-laws: Hugette Clement and Louise Baird. Mrs. Clement was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Clement; her son, Stephen “Tony” Clement; her parents, Clarence and Rose Spake and her two brothers: Edwin Spake and Wayne Spake. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Monday December 2nd at 11:00 A.M. in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at 230 East Ohio Street, Chicago, IL 60611 or through their website, www.plumonaryfibrosis.org.
