Dorothy Clark Reese

Dorothy Clark Reese, age 89, of South Hill died Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at VCU/CMH hospital in South Hill. Mrs. Reese worked as a Dietary Supervisor for a number of years. Dorothy is remembered by her daughter, Lisa Reese Watkins of Henderson, NC, her two nephews; Mike Clark and Scott Clark and her special dog Peanut. Mrs. Reese is also remembered by many loving relatives, friends and neighbors. She is predeceased by her husband, John A. Reese and a daughter, Mary ‘Betsy’ Lynch. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 4th at 2:00 P.M. at Crowder – Hite – Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with a visitation an hour prior, at 1:00 P.M. and interment immediately following the service at La Crosse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church at 3152 Marengo Rd, La Crosse, VA 23950. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. I worked with Dorothy at the hospital. She was a hard working lady. She was a sweet lady. My condolences to her family. I know she will be missed.

A sweet, caring, hard working lady. My walking buddy for many years when I lived in South Hill. I remember her from all those years at the hospital also. She will be missed. My condolences to the family.
