Richard Lynn Ryder

Mr. Richard Lynn Ryder, age 66, of Crewe, died Wednesday January 2, 2025 in his home. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Frances Darlene Ryder; his daughter, Tasha Robinson of Bracey; his sons, Richard Cary Ryder of Raleigh, N.C., Ryan Ryder of Clarksville, and Cody Ryder of Skipwith; his brother, William Virgil Ryder of Dinwiddie; his sisters, Sandra Martin (Robert) and Shelly Anne Brown (Ronnie) all of Crewe; and his seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Daesha Rae Robinson. A funeral service will be held Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment to follow in La Crosse cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday night at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Ricky used to work at the Kenbridge Locker plant with my Dad. He mounted the deer antlers (which I still have) when a deer hit my car. RIP Ricky. 🙏🙏
