Mr. James Clyde Winstead

Mr. James Clyde Winstead, age 78, of La Crosse, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Genelle Winstead of La Crosse; his son, Eric Winstead and his wife Melissa of South Hill; his daughter, Vickie Alexander and her husband Steven of South Hill; his two sisters: Ruby Thomas and her husband Wayne of Smiths Crossroads and Pauline Edmonds of Union Level; his brother, Richard I. “Dickie” Winstead and his wife Betty of Smiths Crossroads and his many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be private. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at attn. memorials processing, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. So sorry for your loss. My mom lost my dad and they had been married many years as you and James had and I know it had to be hard. But he is at peace now. Trust in God that you will be reunited one day. Love yall.
