Mr. Billy Joe Bower

Mr. Billy Joe Bower, age 44, of South Hill, passed away on Wednesday October 22, 2025. He was a former employee of Brown’s Towing in South Hill. Billy is survived by his wife, Brittany G. Bower of South Hill; his two daughters: Kayla Bower and Abby Lloyd; his son, Hunter Lee Bower; his father, Billy Joe Stoneberger, Jr. of South Hill; his brother, Christopher Lee Stoneberger of South Hill; his sister, Jackie Slayton of Greenville, NC; his two uncles: Brandon Fleming and Tony Fleming; his aunt, Tommi Bower; his three nieces: Alyssa, Jackie and Sydney and his four nephews: Mason, Ryan, Michael and Christopher. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sue Bower and his two uncles: George Bower and Tommy Bower. Burial will take place at a later date in the Jehoash Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Catlett, VA. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Very deeply saddened to see this. Wow… we had some fun times! I met you racing you in the hole….who knew that a friendship would grow from that chance encounter. BJ always was such a fun person to be around. I’m so very sorry for everyone’s loss. Praying for everyone family and friends. He certainly made a lifelong impression on me. Just fun crazy times! God Bless All of You and May the Lord’s Word give you each strength and love as time passes.
