Mr. James Leroy Hudson
02/17/1948 - 05/20/2026
James Leroy Hudson, age 78 of La Crosse, passed away May 20, 2026. He was one of seven children born to the late Charlie and Lillie Hudson and is also predeceased by his siblings, Haynie Hudson, Julie Bohanon, Shirley Batton, Katherine Hendricks, Mary Sue Yaws and Martha Hudson. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mabel Toone Hudson; a daughter, Pam Reese (Ben) of La Crosse; two sons, Keith Hudson of South Hill and Jeff Hudson (Tabatha) of La Crosse; 6 grandchildren, Kevin Reese(Amber),Marc Reese, Doug Reese, Jessica Sadler(Nick), Makayla Lafoon and Alexis Crews(Trey),5 great-grandchildren, Shane, Shyanne, Berkleigh, Briar and Everette; and his special dog and friend Trixie. James was a life-long member of the La Crosse Fire Department and member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. He was a skilled woodworker and an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. In lieu of flowers make donations to the Lacrosse Volunteer Fire Department. Online condolences may be made through our website www.crowderhitecrews.com.
