Mr. Randall Spencer Marshall
03/17/1997 - 06/23/2026
Mr. Randall Spencer “Randy” Marshall, age 29, of Louisburg, North Carolina and Bracey, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday June 23, 2026. To know Randy was to love him. He brought an irreplaceable light, an unforgettable smile, and a contagious laugh into this world. Born on March 17, 1997, to his devoted parents Spencer and Cathie Marshall, Randy was a cherished son, a proud uncle, and a deeply loved brother to his big sister, Lindsey. From the very beginning, Randy faced a life full of significant hurdles. Doctors never expected him to even be able to walk, talk or eat on his own. But anyone who knew Randy knew that telling him he couldn't do something was the fastest way to ensure he did. Driven by a remarkably strong-willed personality and an unbreakable spirit, Randy didn't just meet expectations—he completely blew them out of the water. He walked, he thrived, and he chose to live every single day to the absolute fullest. A Friend to All and a Collector of Joy. Randy never met a stranger and found immense joy in the simple, everyday pleasures of life. His enthusiasm was visible in everything he did, especially through his favorite passions: Time at the Lake: Randy absolutely loved walking at the lake and sharing those moments with his mom. While there, he would talk to absolutely everyone, effortlessly turning passersby into fast friends. Favorite Routines: You could always count on Randy to look forward to his favorite things—whether it was a regular trip to Walmart or the excitement when he could grab his favorite meal at McDonald's. The Ultimate Collector: Randy possessed a massive love for collecting every PEZ dispenser he could possibly find. Some of his absolute favorite memories were traveling to PEZ conventions side-by-side with his dad. Master Builder: He found immense satisfaction and focus in building Lego sets, piecing together intricate designs brick by brick. Randy taught everyone around him what true resilience looks like, showing us how to face life's toughest struggles with a smile on your face and love in your heart. While our hearts are heavy with his passing, we take comfort in knowing his laughter echoes in our memories, his strength inspires our steps, and his spirit lives on in every life he touched. Randy is survived by his Mother, Catherine C. Marshall of Bracey; his father, L. Spencer Marshall, Jr. of Louisburg, North Carolina; his sister, Lindsey Fuller and her husband Russell of Louisburg and his nephew, Logan Fuller. Randy was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Leland Spencer Marshall Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Marshall and his Maternal Grandmother, Ann Shannon. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held on July 19, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. in the Epsom Volunteer Fire Department located at 8120 NC-39, Henderson, NC 27537, all are welcome to attend. Friend
Randy’s unmistakable voice is one I will forever cherish. I can hear him saying my name. He always asked “how are you doing Pam?”, “how is your mama doing?”. Randy was always friendly, never spoke unkind. I was in awe when he showed me his PEZ collection! I had no idea there were so many… I’d call when I “thought” I’d come across a special one. But .. no, he’d already have it.
Cathie I have no words to ease the pain and heartbreak you and the family are feeling. I offer my love, my shoulders, and prayer. God be with each of you and help you find peace in your memories.
Even though my time with knowing Randy was short he was a blessing to know. He was so sweet and a pleasure to talk with. I wish we had more time. He will truely be missed .
