Mona Elizabeth Ezell

Obituary:

Mona Elizabeth Ezell, age 62, of South Hill, died on Monday October 18, 2021. She was an employee of Watkins Hearing Aids of South Hill. Mona is survived by her daughter Leslie Austin and her husband Daniel of Appomattox; her two brothers: Jeff Ezell and his wife Tara of Bracey and Brent Ezell and his wife Misty of La Crosse; her sister, Pat Craven and her husband Larry of Missouri and her two granddaughters: Emmalin and Natalie who lovingly referred to their Grandma as “G-Mo”. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday October 23rd at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 P.M. until service time. Private interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. Mona was always a ray of sunshine even in the darkest of times. Her smile, sense of humor, and kindness made it a joy and privilege just to be in her presence.     We went to school together and worked together at the Hundley Center. She was a funny person and easy to be around.Sorry for the family loss. MAY God be with the family in this time of grief.

We first became friends in high school and in recent years we have spent time together and stayed in contact. I loved her quick wit and I will treasure our times together and the laughs we have had.
