This breaks my heart. Some of my best memories of my childhood are from Burton family holidays and uncle Peanut cutting up with the kids. Even though I hadn’t seen him since January 2021 he commented on all of my online posts. He will be missed! Rest In Peace Uncle Peanut.

  4. Peanut’s family

This new normal is killing me. We are losing family members faster than we should be. I’m so sorry for your loss. I was enjoying chatting with Peanut on FB. May the spirit of the Lord help you get through these dark day. Talk about him daily! It helps. Love you bunches!!

  5. I remember lots of Burton fun when I grew up in La crosse, Va, Peanut was such a big part of the jokes and laughter. My mom, Carrie Allgood and him kept us in stitches with the jokes and banter! So sorry I can’t be there with you guys but my heart will always remember him. He didn’t have a mean bone in his body. What a beautiful world we could have if we all were just a little bit like him! I love you all!
