Mr. Daryl Delano Hancock

Mr. Daryl D. Hancock, Sr., age 85 of South Hill, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in VCU/Community Memorial Hospital. He was a retired professional truck driver for NuCar Carriers and a United States Air Force veteran. Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Pauline Chaney Hancock, three sons; Daryl D. Hancock, Jr. of Severn, MD, David D. Hancock of Chesapeake Beach, MD, and Dale D. Hancock of Dunkirk, MD; two sisters; Donna Hancock of South Hill and Gayle Chapman of Gerrardstown, WVA and a brother Dan Hancock also of South Hill. Mr. Hancock was predeceased by his parents Curtis Mullen and Annie Hicks Hancock, a brother Rex Hancock and two sisters: Elaine Howbert and Regina Hancock. Funeral services will be private. The family does request no flowers, but memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Hancock’s name to the Southside Baptist Church, P. O. Box 295, La Crosse, VA 23950.
