James L Lowrey

Mr. James L. Lowrey, age 56 of La Crosse died Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his residence. He was a former owner/operator and drapery installer with Lowrey Installation. James is survived by his father Charles J. Lowrey of La Crosse, his son Jerry D. Lowrey (Cindy) of La Crosse, four sisters; Cheryl Lowrey of La Crosse, Margaret “Peggy” Clark of La Crosse, Susan Hall (Glen) of Clarksville and Alesia Owen (Donnie) of Broadway, Va., a brother Charles W. Lowrey (Cheryl) of Chase City. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Ann Lowrey and a brother Jerry Lowrey. A Celebration of James’s life will be held at a later date. The family suggest memorial contributions in James’s name be made to the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association (MCCA), P. O. Box 311, Chase City, VA 23924. I am sending condolences to the Lowrey family. Jimmy and I worked together many years ago at Brodnax Mills. I was sorry to hear of his passing.

Sorry to hear about Jimmy. Shocking. Alecia and Susan. Charlie or I call him Charles. Him and My Daddy worked together at Transco and they both retired there! Remember? My Daddy Billy Wilson passed away in 1996. Charles is a mess. He talked to me on FB not long ago! Tell him hello and the rest, I hope you all make it through this hard time. It’s not easy. God some how made us tough enough we will get through it. God bless you all and I wish the best. So sorry again. Steve
Jimmy can now sleep with the angels may he be in peace,he was such a nice and kind and respectful guy we got close to him and loved him deeply. so sorry and prayers to his family. R.I.P Jimmy you will be missed.
