Iris Marie Edmonds

Mrs. Iris Marie Edmonds, age 80, of Brodnax, died on Wednesday May 3, 2023. She was a retired transportation coordinator for the John H. Northington Workshop. Mrs. Edmonds is survived by her husband of 63 years, Franklin Andrew “Frank” Edmonds of Brodnax; her two daughters: Sabrina Martin, (Billy) of South Hill and Patricia Lynn Edmonds of La Crosse; her son, Franklin Eugene Edmonds of Brodnax; her sister, Eunice Cogbill of Petersburg; her three grandchildren: Brandon Lee Edmonds, Chris Hall (Wendy) and Cassie Cross (Brandon) and her three great-grandchildren: Carleigh Hall, Justin Hall and River Cross. Mrs. Edmonds was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Ida Edmonds; her two sisters: Bernice Poythress and Lois Queen and her brothers; Sonny, Vernon, Kenneth & Dennis Edmonds. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday May 7th at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home.
