Christian Brett Dickens

Christian Brett Dickens, 27, of Skippers, VA passed away Friday, July 21, 2023
Christian was born February 5, 1996. He was a loving son, a loyal brother and an amazing friend. Christian struggled with addiction, but that did not define him. To those who really knew him, he was hilarious, kind hearted, good looking and loving. He was an all-around country boy. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, and spending time at the lake. His family was the most cherished thing he had.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Tammy and Johnnie “Jay Jay” Parrish; his father, Shelley Dickens; his sister Taylor Dickens (Josh Moore); his brothers, Joey Dickens (Ashley Murray) and Jayce Parrish; his step-sister Chelsea Ayscue (Michael); his aunt, Amy Snodgrass (Mike); his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Art Crawley, Gene and Becky Hawkins; his niece, Cypress Rae; his nephews Bruce Shelton, Joshua Aaron “LJ”, Nathan “Emory”; his beloved pet, Riley “Ry Ry”; his close cousins Justin, Kyle, and Kelsey Rook and a large extended family, friends and many who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Billy Dickens, Judy and Bob Swader; his aunt, Billie Jo Dickens; his uncle, Gene Hawkins Jr. “Root Root”; and his close cousin, Stephanie Rook Williams.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home on Thursday July 27, 2023. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday July 28, 2023 at Aberdour Presbyterian Church 702 Allen Road, Jarrett, Va.
