Mr. Jackie Ray Walker
06/04/1953 - 11/17/2023
Jackie Ray Walker born June 4, 1953 decided to join the angels along with mother (Irene) and father(Joseph) at 9:12am on November 17, 2023. As he walks through Heaven watching over his loved ones and friends, his wife Gloria Jean of 51 years, who has stood beside him through it all, His children Joseph and his daughter Jackie Hershey, Shawn (Son-n-law), and Alyssa (Granddaughter who was the apple of his eye). He also has one sister, Judy Chandler, and brother, Jerald Walker who have stuck by his side during this time. Jackie was known for his hard work and pride in all he did. He taught his children and grandchild to work hard and always give whatever they do 150%. While he was teaching and being a loving husband and father, he was a truck driver all his life. When he took a break from that he built go-cart motors, stayed out on his tractor, love for hunting, and General Hospital. His family and friends were his world and no matter what he would give you the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. His wife and children, thanks everyone for their support during this time. Everyone can join us on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Bethany United Methodist Church at 2pm. The church is located at 3815 Governor Harrison Pkwy, Brodnax, VA 23920. Flowers can be sent to the family at 1520 Evans Creek Rd., Brodnax, VA 23920. Online condolences may be sent through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
