  2. City Carrier

I work at the Lawrenceville post office as a City Carrier. Many in my office knew Bobby and he worked in Lawrenceville. I never met him but he was a heckuva man and mail carrier. My condolences to his family. 🙏

  3. My sincerest condolences to Bobby’s family. He was our mailman when I was a child more than 50 years ago. We always loved to see him coming. He would always tease “the Clary girls’”. Prayers for his family and friends.

  4. Condolences

Bobby was my first City Carrier as a new Postmaster in Lawrenceville and he was a great employee that cared about his customers and I was sad to see him retire. His smiling face was always a spark to my day. My prayers go out to his family and friends. God bless

  5. Ms

All my prayers, thoughts, and love going out to Jane, Tanya, Robbie, and family. I knew Bobby from as long as I can remember. Our family went to the same Church when I was younger. Tanya and Robbie were a bit younger than Andy, and me and closer to my sister Misty’s age. Bobby was always very involved in the Church as long as I knew him and a good example of a father and husband. Just remember that there’s JOY on the other side of Jordan!! Jane… we’ll see him again very soon!

  6. Iris's Daughter

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Bobby always leaving vegetables on my mom’s door step. She truly reaped the benefits of Bobby’s labor in that beautiful garden. I hope you find comfort and piece as you journey on in this season of life.

  7. The Cousin I Wish I Knew Better

Wow, it’s so neat to see how Bobby made an impact on fellow employees and even on folks in his mail route. Jane, Robbie, and Tanya, I was planning to come out to the service today, but I’m not feeling 100% and Gloria is convinced she had Covid earlier this week, so I’m going to play it safe.

I saw Bobby once a year at the family reunion picnic for a good period of my childhood. I can picture his smile. Although he was my cousin, I am closer to Tanya’s age than his. In fact, I believe he graduated from HS with my mother (or one year later – Shani could set that record straight I’m sure). Due to the age difference, I never talked to him much, but his character displayed the ideal combination of gentleness and firmness that most assuredly made him a wonderful husband and father. We need more men like that.

  8. Our neighbor

Bobby was our neighbor for many years. He shared vegetables from his garden with us and offered to help us in our time of need, even when he wasn’t in the best of health. We will miss seeing him working in his yard. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

    Dearest Walker Family,
May his memory live on in all those who love him. At the NALC, we appreciate Brother Walker’s years of dedicated postal service as he was a recipient of the very coveted GOLD CARD. May he rest peacefully and may his spirit remain in the wind, protecting us all.
    Our condolences,
    Cara Neri
