Mr. Clifford Milton Allen, Jr.

Mr. Clifford Milton Allen, Jr. age 87, of Joyceville sub-division, Bracey. He was a United States Air Force and Marine Veteran, an Agent for twenty-six years with Allstate Insurance, a member of American Legion Post #79, a member of Tanglewood Country Club in Bracey and Meadowbrook Country Club in Richmond and the widower of Ruth Thon Allen. He was a golfer, bowler and fisherman and would like to be remembered as a fair man. Cliff is survived by his two sons; David R. Allen of South Hill and Paul B. Allen of Bracey; his three grandchildren: David Allen, Jr., Taylor Buckley and Bryan Allen; his two great-grandchildren: Sebastian Allen and Seth Allen and his step-son, Richard Spencer of Dewitt. He was predeceased by three brothers: Gerald Allen, Robert Allen and Richard Allen. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday February 22nd at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George Va. on Friday February 23rd at 11:00 A.M. with full American Legion Post 79 Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Thursday starting at 1:00 P.M. until service time in the funeral home. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, 2924 Brook Rd., Richmond, VA 23220.
