  1. Good Friend Of His

I can not sit here and say that my heart is not broken into a million pieces, because it is! I met Mr. Harold when I was working at Win.n Dixie and we remained friends. I had just talked to him Friday and we laughed and joked , like we always did, every week😢Not knowing that that was going to be the last time that I saw him😢He was really like a good friend and whenever we didn’t see him come in the store , we would be so worried until we saw him again. I’m really going to miss Mr. Harold calling me Troublemaker #1 and me telling him that he was Troublemaker#1 and we would just laugh..Everyone that he came in contact with in Food Lion loved him because he was such a loving, caring and funny man. I will forever remember our Food Lion and Winn Dixie memories and all of our laughs and picking at each other. Rest in peace my dear sweet friend Troublemaker #1 From, Byrd Troublemaker #1😁I can hear you now saying, im not #1 you are😢😢Ok, you win, I’ll be #1 just for you😢😢

  2. Friends in Christ

Harold…What a kind, compassionate, loving gentleman you were…always desiring to help others in any possible way. It’s been such a pleasure having you as a friend and Brother in Christ, and we will dearly miss your smile, love, and fellowship at River Ridge Chapel. I’ll have to find someone else to pick on for parking crooked in their spot!! What a joy it is to know you are completely healed, reunited with your Irene, and worshipping at the feet of Jesus in our eternal home. Rest easy friend … Until we meet again.

You will always have a special place in my heart, your laughter and your jokester attitude and just you will be so very missed, oh and your love for rhubarb and your competitiveness for playing games! I will cherish those memories forever! Love you so much and have a happy reunion with Aunt Irene!❤️

Rest in peace Uncle Harold. I loved you so very much! You were always my favorite Uncle to play games with and I cherish all our Bracey trips over the years! Wonderful memories since I was a little kid spending time with you, Irene and Monica. ❤️

  8. God's Gift

The world was a better place with you here Harold but as we all know you are in a much better place in heaven. We are so very thankful and honored to have been able to call you friend. Thank you for just being you. Rest in the arms of our heavenly father and in the presence of your beautiful wife. We will miss you here in River Ridge. You are truly one of God’s Greatest Gifts that has been returned to God.

  9. Friends

It was my honor to be partially raised by Harold since I was 6 years old. Growing up as Monica’s best friend gave me a place in their home. As an adult I have been able to look back and see how much Harold and Irene did for me, that was not obvious as a child. I hope that they both know how grateful I am for their care and love. They were both incredibly kind to me and I will always pay that forward in their memories.
