Dorothy Clary Hawkins

Mrs. Dorothy Clary Hawkins, age 98 of White Plains, VA. died Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Pine View Assisted Living of South Hill. She was seamstress for the former La Crosse Sportswear in La Crosse and was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Edward Lawrence Hawkins.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her son David B. Hawkins and his wife Audrey of Lexington, Va, two granddaughters Leslie Meadows and husband Josh of Cary, N.C. and Blaire O’Brien and husband Eric of Richmond, VA and four great grandchildren.
A Graveside funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 25, 2024 in Crestview Memorial Park, La Crosse, VA at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance, P. O. Box 99562, Raleigh, NC 27624 in honor of Tess Meadows.
