  1. Friend/former Church member with her

Betty and Roy I remember the most teaching Sunday School for the children and I especially remember them teaching my youngest son. They were such a blessing to the children. Jansen loved to go to their house and see all the fowl that they raised and loved to “pick out” his own eggs ” for Sunday morning breakfast. Once he saw a huge goose egg and”picked ” that one. Betty and Roy just chuckled and went home with our”giant chicken egg”. She could hardly sleep. We cooked it Sunday morning and he stuffed himself with that egg as much as he could. Roy and Betty asked him if it was good as soon as he got to Church. She said it was DEE-LISUS!! Then Roy said that he didn’t know that Jansen even liked Goose eggs even though they do taste the same as chicken eggs. Jansen said WHAT? MAMA FOR REAL? IT WON’T NO GOOSE EGG! WAS IT? MAMA? I tried not to laugh but I said yes son it was. That’s why it was so big. He started heaving and carrying on!🤣😂🤣! Ms Betty just hugged him and told him it was ok and they wouldn’t play anymore tricks on him when he came back to the house. She just loved them both. They are/were such humble people. Betty will be missed sorely but she is free from all encumbrances now and visiting with her wonderful parents and Jesus!! Love you Betty! Prayers for you and the family Roy! Love y’all too!🙏🤲🙌
