Obituary:

Mr. William Andrew “Andy” Gall, age 48 of Boydton went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 23, 2025. Andy was a Facility Engineer at IDEAL Fastener Corporation of Oxford, North Carolina, a graduate of Brunswick Academy, Lawrenceville, VA and Old Dominion University in Norfolk. He was an Eagle Scout, a former troop leader for La Crosse Boy Scouts, a member of Fishers-of-Men Christian Fisherman’s Club, loved children and family and placed his faith in Jesus Christ. He is survived by the love of his life, his companion Roni Trull and her daughter Kelsey Currin, his mother Billie Hall Wells of South Hill, two sisters: Rose Ellis and husband Chris of South Hill and Tracey Pryor and husband Marcia of Greenville, S.C., cousin/sister Sally Harder and husband Brian of Carson, VA, his aunt and uncle Rev. Ronnie Campbell and wife Ellen of Boydton, nieces, Miranda Ellis (Cody Wright) of White Plains and Cailyn Banks of Virginia Beach, nephews Logan Ellis of South Hill, Noah Banks and wife Kamlyn of Greenville, S.C. , Aiden and Wyatt Harder of Carson, VA., special friend John Hughes of Boydton. He was predeceased by his father A.G. “Rooster” Wells, a nephew, Jamison Ellis and his grandparents Bert and Margie Hall. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday , May 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation to follow the service. Memorial contributions in Andy’s name may be made to the Bethany Baptist Church, P.O. 119, Baskerville, VA 23915. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
