Obituary:

Mr. Jacob Cole Fulks, age 19, of Bracey, died Monday, May 13, 2024. He was a Tech-1 cable installer for IES Communications. Jacob is survived by his fiancée, Savannah Hobson of Lawrenceville, his mother, Lebrina "Danielle" Puryear (Rodney Sheets) of Bracey, his father, Shawn E. Fulks (Sara) of Boydton, four sisters, Kaitlin Morris of Lawrenceville, Hailee Fulks (Andrew) of Bracey, Ellie Fulks and Massey Fulks both of Boydton , two brothers, “Baby Bear" Fulks also of Boydton and Cameron Sheets of Bracey, his niece, Lakelyn and nephew, Lawson of Bracey, his maternal grandmother, Deborah Puryear-Knight (David) of Lawrenceville and his paternal grandparents, Pappy and Meme Fulks of Brodnax, two aunts, Kresea Fulks and Desiree Puryear, his uncle, Steve Stone, many cousins, a host of other family members and friends and his dog/best friend, Dutch. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Donald Puryear. A memorial service will be conducted at New Hope Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 17, 2024 at 255 Union Mill Road Lacrosse, VA 23950. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 until service time in the church. The family encourages to make a blood donation to the American Red Cross in honor of Jacob. Online condolences may be sent through our website www.crowderhitecrews.com.     So sorry for the loss of your special loved one. Jacob was a kind and very sweet young man and I can only imagine the pain you all are feeling at this time. Rest in Peace Jacob. 🙏

    I’m so sorry for your loss. I couldn’t imagine what talk are going through. Jakob was a great man, he had always seen the positive in things in life. I looked forward to hanging out with him every time he came over, he will be missed by many.

  3. Jacob, you were a funny guy! I remember all the laughs you brought to Mr. Broomes room at park view when we were freshmans. We didn’t talk much outside the classroom, but I remember the light you shun upon an otherwise dull class. Rest peacefully!!

    I just found out about Jacob’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. The last time I saw him is when he and Christian came by our house. My condolences to the family. You will be in my prayers.
