Obituary:

Mrs. Dorothy Propst Tanner, age 85, of La Crosse, died Friday, June 14, 2019 in VCU/MCV Hospital, Richmond, Va.
She was a supervisor at the former La Crosse Sportswear and the widow of Otha Tanner.
Mrs. Tanner is survived by her two daughters; Brenda Harris (Alex Gentry) and Pam Trapp (R.J.) all of South Hill and four grandchildren; Chrystal H. Elmore (Ricky) of Bracey, Greg Harris (Brittany) of South Hill, Kim Moore (Jessie) of La Crosse and Chris Clark (Amy Pearson) of Palmer Springs, seven Great Grandchildren; Cameron Coone, Crysta Coone, Tyler Harris, Tanner Grace Elmore, Jaxon Harris, Aubrey Elmore and Presley Clark, three Step Grandchildren; Jamie , Jacob and Tyler Trapp, and three great-great grandchildren; Casen Johnson, Scarlette Coone and Sadie Kirby.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Edna Earle Puryear.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Rehoboth United Methodist Church, Blackridge.
The family request memorial contributions be made in Dorothy’s name to the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, P. O. Box 311, Chase City, Va. 23924.
