Mrs. Ethel Moseley Jones

Obituary:

Mrs. Ethel Moseley Jones, age 90, of Ebony, died Monday November 19, 2018. She was a retired employee of Peebles, working in the corporate office, a devoted member of Prospect United Methodist Church, a member of the Prospect United Methodist Women, a charter member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Ebony Volunteer Fire Department and was the widow of Robert Lee Jones. Mrs. Jones is survived by her two daughters: Marilyn J. Ennis and her husband Steve of Glen Allen and Brenda J. Herndon and her husband Frank of Richmond; her two sons: Robert E. Jones of Powhatan and Kemp Jones and his wife Judy of Hampton; her five sisters: Betty M. Lett of Ebony, Hattie M. Baird of Ebony, Virginia M. Clary of Ebony, Hazel M. Ezell of La Crosse and Lucy M. Daniel of Emporia; her two brothers: Robert C. Moseley of Ebony and George B. Moseley of Emporia; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was predeceased by her son, Howard S. Jones. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday morning, November 23rd at 11:00 in Prospect United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect Cemetery Association at P.O. Box 29, Ebony, VA 23845 or to the Ebony Volunteer Fire Department at 497 Robinson Ferry Road, Ebony, VA 23845.
